Asparagus Shrimp Pasta Recipes

Any ideas on what I can make? I plan on making some home made pasta- spaghetti or fettuccine. As well as fresh basil, parsley and other dried herbs/spices. I was thinking about buying some asparagus but I'm not sure what sort of sauce i can do I have 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 lb of small scallops in the fridge.

I don't remember which one and I can't find the recipe online (so far). A couple of years ago, I found a recipe in a womans magizine. I remember it has pasta (I think penne), shrimp, sun dried tomatoes, and the sauce is made from cream and other ingredients, I think it also had asparagus or broccoli. I made it back then and would like to try it again, if anyone has the recipe or one that is similar. Thank you!!!

I plan on cooking a romantic dinner at home for my fiance and I for Valentines.We live on 20 acres so I am going to set it up outside. I am also serving cheese bisquits and salad for an appetizer and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. I need a few good side dish recipes and was thinking about asparagus, fried tortellini in alfredo sauce or pasta salad. Also, We would like to have wine, something sweet, fruity, crisp & smooth with a good alcohol content & cheap but im not to familiar with what type of wine to buy. I was going to make scallops and shrimp maybe Fraiche style but I really wanted to find a sweet and spicy glaze for the shrimp. HELP please =)! Does anyone have any more or better ideas?

Shes a heavy smoker and wont ever quit no matter what I do so anything that reduces the risk of cancer is good. She wont eat fish, but a recipe I could disguise it in would work lol. Her eating habits are horrible- fast food sausage or bacon biscuits for breakfast, usually fast food for lunch, and usually huge bowls of chocolate ice cream and snack cakes before bed. I'm only 17 so I dont know much about nutrician.Thanx! Shes still skinny from genes though, so fat content doesn't matter since shes 5'11 and I'm 6' and we both stay a size 0 no matter what we eat. She cant eat some stuff-bell peppers, lettuce, and some other salad-type stuff because she has a hiatal hernia and it makes her sick. She really likes carbs like breads and pastas and she loves shrimp but we dont have the budget to buy the expensive stuff. I do most of the cooking and I want to know what I should be making for my mom. Heart disease does run in the family though, so heart-healthy stuff is good. She likes spicy stuff but most spicy things give her heartburn.
